NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Yolo will receive sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of the Public Contract Code from contractors licensed for the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, mobilization, demobilization, permitting, disposal and any other required services for the performance of the following Work: Yolo County Airport Runway 16-34 Rehabilitation Project.


The Project is comprised of surface treating Runway 16-34 and the taxiway connectors. This treatment is anticipated to consist of:

• Removal of existing pavement markings, and foreign substances/ contaminants that would affect the bond of a seal coat to the existing pavement

• Routing and sealing of existing cracks. Full-depth repair of isolated sections of pavement.

• Application of seal coat, using materials that meet FAA guidance.

• Application of pavement markings


The extent of work is identified in the Technical Specifications Volume II.


A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for 11:00am on Thursday May 14, 2026, at the project site located at:

25170 Aviation Avenue, Davis, CA 95616, in the Davis Flight Support conference room.


Addendum 1 (5-12-2026): Updated - Volume 1 Section 00 01 15 List of Bid Documents dates of Volume 2 and 3, Section 00 12 00 Engineer's estimate, Section 00 41 00 Bid Form line 7 quantity, and Section 00 52 00 3(b) Liquidated Damages.


Addendum 2 (5-18-2026): Updated Plan Set to final version, notable changes: G-021 Removed the staging area outside the AOA, G-081 Removed the staging area outside the AOA, and C-671 Change title to Detail 9 to "Runway Aiming Point Markings." Pre-Bid Meeting Sign-In sheet and Meeting Agenda uploaded with existing documents.


Addendum 3 (5-20-2026): Corrected line 8 in Bid Form from SF to SY.


Addendum 4 (5-25-2026): Corrected lines 6 and 7 on Bid because the amounts were transposed. Uploaded Q&A with bid documents. Due date extended to June 4, 2026.


Addendum 5 (6-2-2026) Bid due date extended to Tuesday June 9, 2026 at 2PM PST, Q&A added to bid documents.
