The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing a set aside for certified small business contractors for the Winhall Brook Campground Restroom Renovations located in Londonderry, Vermont. The NAICS code for the work described below is 236220. The project is planned to be issued in February 2025 and will be set aside for Small Businesses. The period of performance will be approximately 180 days. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000-$1,000,000.
The work of this project involves extensive renovations for three restroom buildings in the Winhall Brook Campground. The structures were heavily damaged in flood events during 2023 and require electrical, mechanical, and architectural renovations. The renovation work will include, but not be limited to, removal and replacement of existing restroom fixtures, replacement of typical mechanical and electrical equipment housed in campground restroom facilities, roof replacements and building additions to install new showers.
The existing facilities have been sampled and tested for the presence of lead and asbestos. There are no asbestos-containing materials present in the restroom structures. Lead has been found in the paint coatings applied to two items at the restrooms, the water well pipes and privacy fence brackets, however these items are not involved in the renovation work and the Contractor shall not disturb them.
Please note that this solicitation is set aside for certified small businesses. This is not a request for proposals at this time; the solicitation requirements and contract documents which will include instructions for submission and the response date will be available on or about February 2025. Neither telephonic, mailed, nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to view the solicitation offerors must access the System for Award Management website (www.sam.gov). In order to download the solicitation, offerors must access the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (https://piee.eb.mil/).
