Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes on the form provided with the specifications for that purpose. Envelopes shall be addressed to Office of the City Clerk of the City of Hughson 7018 Pine Street Hughson, California 95326 and plainly marked: WELL 8 REHABILITATION PROJECT and delivered to the City Clerk at City Hall, City of Hughson, 7018 Pine Street, Hughson California, 95326, up to 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 27th, at which time subject bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposal forms for this work are included in the “Proposal” section of this document (blue pages). The work to be performed consists, in general, of rehabilitation of existing Well 8, including but not limited to, remove existing pump and appurtenances, well videos, mechanical and chemical cleaning of well and screens, providing and installing temporary pump for pump-to-waste and development, waste water discharge systems and management, installing new pump and appurtenances, disinfection, and other work items as described in the contract documents. Other such items and details not mentioned herein that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications or these Special Provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed, or detailed.
