The Department of Minnesota IT Services (MNIT), partnering with the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), intend to enter into an agreement up to 12 months with Healthcare Academy for continued, uninterrupted use of web-based learning application, educational, documentation and quality assurance tools for MDVA staff.

The web-based learning application will encompass, but is not limited to, the Healthcare Academy Learning Management System and the Competency Documentation Tool, collectively referred to as “the Products.” These web-based learning modules will deliver the necessary healthcare training and serve as a record management system, which can also be utilized for auditing purposes. Healthcare Academy retain exclusive ownership, copy rights, trademark of their proprietary web-based services. The State believes these services are not available through third-party entities deeming this a sole source purchase.
