Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System currently utilizes the Site Rite 8 system; however, the device is approaching the end of its operational life. The manufacturer, Becton Dickinson (BD), has discontinued production of Site Rite 8, and it is no longer available on the market. As a result, the facility must evaluate alternative solutions to maintain continuity of care and ensure reliable ultrasound-guided procedures.
The Contractor shall furnish, transport, deliver, install, configure, and place into full operational service all listed equipment (brand name or equal) together with all required supplies, accessories, software/licenses, and services. All equipment and configuration activities shall meet the applicable manufacturer specifications and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requirements. The Contractor is responsible for providing any parts, components, or materials necessary to complete installation, configuration, software activation, and OEM-equivalent training of Government personnel, whether or not such items are explicitly enumerated in the equipment list.
