New Jersey Department of Transportation

The New Jersey Department of Transportation is holding a Voluntary Pre-Bid

Meeting on November 30, 2023, at 12:30 PM for the following three projects:

Maintenance Structural Steel and Aluminum Repair Contract, North – 2024; Various

Locations, North Region; Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union, and

Warren (Including and North of Route 57) Counties. Proposal/DP No. 24428

Maintenance Structural Steel and Aluminum Repair Contract, Central – 2024;

Various Locations, Central Region; Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth,

Ocean, Somerset, and Warren (South of Route 57) Counties. Proposal/DP No. 24429

Maintenance Structural Steel and Aluminum Repair Contract, South – 2024; Various

Locations, South Region; Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland,

Gloucester, and Salem Counties. Proposal/DP No. 24430

These Structural Steel and Aluminum Repair projects are to perform work consisting of the furnishing;

fabrication, erection, containment, surface preparation for painted surfaces, painting, and repair of steel

structures and bridges on State maintained roads, highways, and railroads on an as-needed basis at various

locations throughout the North Region, Central Region, and South Region of the State of New Jersey.

These projects will be advertised on November 16, 2023.

Bids for Steel & Aluminum Repair Contract Region North will be received on December 7, 2023.

Bids for Steel & Aluminum Repair Contract Region Central will be received on December 12, 2023.

Bids for Steel & Aluminum Repair Contract Region South will be received on December 14, 2023.

ALL BID DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BY ADDENDA.

Collectively, the projects involve work ranging from $20,000,000.00 to $35,000,000.00.

A Voluntary Pre-Bid meeting will be held for these projects on November 30, 2023, at 12:30 PM.

Attendance is strongly encouraged. The meeting will be held in Training Room A of the Engineering &

Operations building at NJDOT’s Main Headquarters located at 1035 Parkway Avenue, Trenton,
