One-Two Sentences
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held for the Student Health Building Counseling Services & Respiratory Clinic Project on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 10:00 am. The Pre-Proposal meeting will be held at: NC Central University Hubbard-Totton Building Planning Room, First Floor, Room #113 105 Eagle Campus Drive Durham, NC 27707. SCOPE OF WORK: This project includes, but is not limited to, interior renovations on the south side of the building, including the medical counseling office, public restroom, and the purchase and installation of window HVAC units on the first and second floors, which will include electrical power. The north side of the building will include some electrical power upgrades to support the existing window HVAC units in place. The electrical work will include installing dedicated circuits within a new subpanel that will support the north and south sides of the building. The renovation will also include all associated demolition, electrical work, new ceiling tiles, lighting upgrades, some environmental testing and abatement, repairs to existing plaster walls, and painting of walls to a Level 5 finish.
