Sealed Bids for construction of the Town of Pace, MS, 2025 Water Well Improvement Project, CDBG Project No.
1138-23-287-PF-01, will be received, by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Town of Pace, MS at the office of
the Town Hall, 333 Jenny Washington Avenue, Pace, MS 38764, until 10:00 o'clock PM, Central Time, on April 27,
2026, and then at said time and place publicly opened and read aloud.
Bidding Documents may examine free of charge at the office of Eley|McPherson, PA, 306 Third Street, Cleveland,
MS 38732 and at Town Hall, 333 Jenny Washington Avenue, Pace, MS, 38764: or participating plan rooms. Bidding
Documents may be purchased at Eley|McPherson, PA, 306 Third Street, Cleveland, MS 38732. Plan holders will be
required to have a valid email address and must purchase the Bidding Documents in order to be eligible to submit
a Bid. Bids may be submitted in person or by mail. For delivery in person or by mail, the Bids must be enclosed in a
sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside with the following: Bid for Town of Pace, MS, 2025 Water Well
Improvement Project, CDBG Project No. 1138-23-287-PF-01 to be opened on April 27, 2026, and addressed to
Town of Pace, MS, 333 Jenny Washington Avenue, Pace, MS 38764. In addition, the envelope shall list the bidders
Company Name, address and applicable state and local license and registration numbers of the bidder. The Owner
and Engineer assume no responsibility for the premature opening of any bid envelope which is not properly marked.
Bidders must be properly licensed by the MS State Board of Contractors for the type of Work required for this
project. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit,
with its bid, security in the amount of, form of and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and
minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, including Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O.
11246. Title VI Minority Bidders are encouraged to bid.
No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
