INVITATION TO BID
Magnolia School District, Magnolia, Arkansas, will receive sealed proposals for the School Safety Improvements to Existing Entrances for Magnolia Public Schools,, Magnolia AR, in accordance with the Contract Documents as prepared by Trull-Hollensworth, Architects, 804 North Jackson, Magnolia, Arkansas 71753 (870/234-7424) until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Boardroom of the Superintendent’s Office located at 1403 High School Drive, Magnolia, AR. Contract documents may be examined at the following:

A pre-bid conference is set for Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. beginning outside the Office of the 1st and 2nd Grade Building, 1310 Hollensworth Street, Magnolia, AR 71753.
Bidders shall conform to the requirements of the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Contractors.
Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the prime bid proposal must accompany each proposal in accordance with the “Instructions to Bidders.”
Qualified prime bidders may obtain two (2) sets at the Architect’s office upon deposit of $150.00 per set, refundable. Sub-bidders and suppliers may obtain sets, and prime bidders additional sets by paying the cost of reproduction and handling, not refundable at the rate of $3.00 per drawing and $0.25 per specification page. Electronic CD/Disc of Drawings and Specifications can be purchased for a cost of $50.00, non-refundable. Drop Box is available at no charge.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or formalities in any solicitation or bid responses. Price alone may not be the determining factor. Award(s) will be based upon those considerations which are in the best interest of the District and will be made to the most responsive, responsible bidder whose bid is judged to be the most effective and economical for the purpose intended, according to the requirements and specifications. Proposals which fail to comply fully with any provisions of the Specifications and other Contract Documents may be considered invalid and not receive consideration.
