NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25242042 – Seward Hwy & Tudor Rd Interchange Reconstruction Design Services - PLUS

The Contractor shall provide professional services for the design and advertising of the above named project, and two (2) additional projects. The first project will replace Tudor Road Overcrossing at the Seward Highway to meet current standards. It will improve turning movements and non-motorized accommodations to address safety concerns. It will rehabilitate interchange ramps and intersections to meet the new bridge configuration, as needed. The Contractor will be the lead designer for this project. Anticipated services are described in the Statement of Services. The additional two (2) projects are AMATS: Rabbit Creek Road Rehabilitation and AMATS: Potter Drive Rehabilitation. These two projects are being designed in house and the Contractor will be provided support services as needed.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately May 2024 to May 2029.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be over $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available March 8, 2024 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than March 29, 2024, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
