    Project Description: Helene Relief– Replace Private Bridges over Warren Creek (Site 011-01-e8aa7) on
    Softwind Trail in Buncombe County and over Jack’s Creek (Site 100-01-00432) on
    Jack’s Creek Road in Yancey County
    The North Carolina Department of Public Safety Emergency Management Division and the Department
    of Transportation is requesting bids for replacing private bridges over Warren Creek (Site 011-01-e8aa7)
    in Buncombe County and over Jack’s Creek (Site 100-01-00432) in Yancey County to be let at 2:00 PM
    on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
    The availability date for this project is March 6, 2026.
    The completion date for this project is July 1, 2026.
    Because of the unusual nature of the work involved and in order for all prospective bidders
    to have extensive knowledge of the project, an open, virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be
    held for all interested parties on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 10:00 am.
