This synopsis is for the purpose of a pre-solicitation notification only. NO SOLICITATION IS ATTACHED. A SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT March 15, 2025.
Nitrogen generator and dry pipe replacement construction is to be performed at the Joseph P. Kinneary U.S. Courthouse at 85 Marconi Blvd, Columbus, OH 43215. This project includes, but is not limited to the following work:
● Lead paint remediation associated with replacement of fire suppression dry piping system.
● Cutting and patching of existing CMU and drywall partitions for piping replacement.
● Replacement of existing nitrogen generator and fire suppression dry piping.
● Priming and painting of new fire suppression dry piping, existing steel beams, garage roof framing and roof deck.
The Joseph P. Kinneary U. S. Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The National Historic Preservation Act and Secretary of the Interior's Standards will apply.
This synopsis is provisional and for a pre-solicitation notification only. Issuance of this provisional synopsis does not guarantee that a solicitation will be issued. The Government intends to set aside this procurement for Small Businesses. The construction cost is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS code is 236220 with a small business standard of $45 million. The performance period is 364 days from award to substantial completion. This is a negotiated procurement; therefore, a public bid opening will not be held. The solicitation will be available on or about March 15, 2025. Please refer to the solicitation for final details.
The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as SAM.gov. SAM.gov is a secure website designed to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) acquisition information. SAM.gov is fully integrated with other electronic Government initiatives and is available for use by all Federal agencies. Registration in SAM.gov is required in order to download solicitation documents and is used to validate vendor identity. Contractors not registered in these systems will be ineligible to download the solicitation and ineligible for an award.
Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s), if any to the solicitation. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted before the proposal due date (actual information will be contained in the solicitation).
