Be advised that this is only a pre-soliciation notice. This notice does not commit the government to a soliciation nor is it a request for proposals or an invitation for bids. Solicitation should be advertised some time around 5 May 2025.
This project is estimated to be between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000.
The Murrieta Creek Phase 2B channel widening starts from the upstream end of Phase 2A (Station 98+80) and continues to approximately 5,220 feet (Station151+00). The invert of the channel consists of a maintained channel area and riparian vegetation corridor.
GENERAL SCOPE: (Groundwater monitoring plan)(Comprehensive dewatering plan to keep excavation dry)(Monitoring well installation)(Instrumentation)(Dewatering system removal)(Temporary shoring)(Demolition and debris removal)(Strip/Stockpile topsoil)(Existing riprap removal)(Shoring design and installation)(Precise installation/monitoring of inclinometers)(>500,000 cubic yards large scale excavation)(Detailed survey control)(Protection of large sewer utilities)(Relocation large water utilities)(Large scale compacted fill)(Large scale riprap installation) (grouted riprap slopes at confluences)(Extensive series of side drain structures) (overbank aesthetics landscaping, right of way)(A/C Paving for roadways) (several access ramps) (maintenance road/trail, riparian vegetation corridor)(Extensive concrete v-ditch system)(Embankment subdrain system)(Planting/hydroseeding)(Temporary irrigation system)(plant establishment)(Install grade stabilizer)(galvanized posts and cable fence), (access gate).
Utilities:
• RCWD 36" line: Existing 36" steel pipe to be relocated approximately 15' upstream of its current location. The new 36" steel pipe will be encased in a 60" steel casing.
• RCWD 12" line: Existing 12" steel pipe to be abandoned in-place and removed by the Contractor.
• RCWD 24" line: Existing 24" steel pipe to be relocated approximately 15' upstream of its current location. The new 24" steel pipe will be encased in a 42" steel casing.
• EMWD 12" and 24" sewer lines: Existing 12" and 24" sewer lines and existing concrete encasements to be protected in-place; the lines are roughly parallel and within 11' of each other. The Contractor will construct a protection structure over the lines using CMLC and concrete.
• SCG 4" HP gas line: SCG will perform the relocation of the existing 4" HP gas line. The new alignment will run along the current low flow crossing
