Sealed proposals will be received until 12 o’clock noon on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, by electronic bid only for the following project: Miscellaneous Water Meter Parts for calendar years 2023-2025, in accordance with the specifications now on file in the office of the Director of Public Service and Safety, City of Troy, Ohio.

The electronic bidding will be handled through the Bid Express service www.bidexpress.com . Bidder must register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation the bidder intends to bid electronically prior to bidding.

This is for the purchase of miscellaneous water meter parts including, but not limited to, valves, repair bands, and water meter yokes.

A bid guaranty as follows is required to accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into:

• A bid bond in the amount of 100% payable to the City of Troy, or
• A certified check, a cashier's check, Official Bank Check, or a letter of credit in the amount of 10% payable to the City of Troy, Ohio

The City of Troy reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids when to the advantage of the City and to select the best bid in its opinion. The City of Troy, Ohio is in compliance with ADA.
