Proposals will be received until 12 o’clock noon on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, by electronic bid only for the following project: Marina Building Loading Dock Support Project, in accordance with the plans and specifications now on file in the office of the Director of Public Service and Safety, City of Troy, Ohio.

The electronic bidding will be handled through the Bid Express service at www.bidexpress.com . Bidder must register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation the bidder intends to bid electronically prior to bidding. This project consists of addressing deterioration of structural steel supporting the loading dock drive to the marina building garage area. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Marina Building 439 North Elm Street, Troy, Ohio on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 9:00 AM. The structural and electrical engineer will be present.

All Contractors and Subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practical, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project.

This project does not exceed the threshold requiring prevailing wage rates.

A bid guaranty as follows is required to accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into:

1. A bid bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount, payable to the City of Troy, Ohio, or
2. A certified check, a cashiers’ check, an Official Bank Check, or a letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid amount, payable to the City of Troy, Ohio.

The City of Troy reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids when to the advantage of the City and to select the best bid in its opinion. The City of Troy, Ohio is in compliance with ADA.
