Title: Liquid He Dewar and Sub-Cooler

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION COMPETITIVE NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT FOR FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION.

This pre-solicitation notice serves as a synopsis and is posted in accordance with FAR subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This is not a solicitation. Contractors shall not submit a quote until, and/or if, the solicitation is posted to the Governmentwide Point-of-Entry via www.SAM.gov. This announcement shall NOT be construed as a commitment by Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA) to award a Contract. Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) reserves the right to use any and all information submitted by, or obtained from, an interested party in any manner BNL determines is appropriate, including, but not limited to, the creation of a competitive solicitation.

Background:

BNL is a Department of Energy (DOE) National Laboratory multidisciplinary research facility, located on Long Island, New York.

BNL intends to compete, full and open, for Liquid He Dewar and Sub-Cooler to be utilized within the United States.

Need:

BNL has the following requirements:

Please see attached DRAFT Statement of Work, Specification, Supporting Documentation, and Drawings.

BNL expects to issue one (1) award.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332420, “Metal Tank (Heavy Gauge) Manufacturing”, and the applicable PSC 6640, “Laboratory Equipment and Supplies”. Interested parties must be registered under the NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting their quotes.

BNL intends to issue Solicitation No. 446572 in support of this requirement. The anticipated award type is a Firm Fixed Price Contract. BNL anticipates the award date to be on or around March 31, 2025.

Delivery Date:

BNL requires delivery of equipment up to 52 weeks after award with installation assistance up to 20 weeks after delivery.
