Kahn Ranch Cabin Repairs Project: Revised Bid

Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District (District, Owner or Agency) is accepting sealed bids from qualified contractors to perform repair and improvement work on two existing cabins located at Kahn Ranch for RFB202627-1 , Kahn Ranch Cabin Repairs Project: Revised Bid , with bids to be received no later than Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 3:00 pm PST. The purpose of this project is to address identified deficiencies and complete necessary upgrades so the cabins may be safely and reliably used for their intended function.

The District is located within the Monterey Peninsula on the California central coast. The District is responsible for multiple public park sites which may require general contractor services to ensure the safety and functionality of buildings and infrastructure.

Kahn Ranch is a property located within Garland Ranch Regional Park in Carmel Valley and owned and operated by the District. The site includes two existing cabins that have not been in service for an extended period and now require repairs and upgrades to support continued use. While the buildings remain in place, deferred maintenance and aging components have limited their functionality.

The District is undertaking this project as part of its ongoing efforts to maintain District facilities and make effective use of existing assets. The work is intended to improve the condition and usability of the cabins while minimizing unnecessary replacement of existing structures. The District is seeking a contractor who can assess existing conditions, perform the required repairs, and complete the work in a controlled and professional manner, suitable for a public park environment.
