Installation of replacement Copeland semi-hermetic compressors for seawater chiller unit - Newport, Oregon

NOAA – National Marine Fisheries Service – AFSC-RACE – Two (2) Replacement Copeland Discus Semi-Hermetic Compressors for Seawater Chiller Unit.

This is a Sources Sought Notice in preparation for an upcoming procurement, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC) is conducting market research to determine potential sources for procurement and installation of two (2) replacement Copeland Discus Semi-Hermetic compressor units (Model number M-6DEP3R35ME-TSK-800). Other parts include (up to) 200 pounds of R448A refrigerant, two (2) M-RR-M-20 discharge mufflers, two (2) M-RR-3743 Suction Accumulators, and two (2) 3P 75A 120V coils.

Place of performance is Newport, Oregon.

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 – Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors). The small-business size standard for this NAICS code is $19.0m in annual gross receipts or less.

Respondents will also need to indicate if they are authorized Copeland servicing dealers and whether they and their technicians hold universal refrigeration licenses.
