THE WORK CONSISTS OF:
The work of this project consists of replacing the existing four (4) non-functional HVAC units with four (4) new HVAC units at Building 14a at the VAMC West Haven. The units will be exterior wall mounted and provide minimum 3-Ton cooling capacity and 67,500 BTU gas heat. The electrical voltage of these units will be 230/208V single phase power. All available utilities will be available for connection for these new units. The existing HVAC units will be removed and disposed of properly as part of this work. The associated thermostats inside the building shall also be replaced. The new units to be furnished and connected to the existing gas service where the existing units are mounted, and the scope of the gas piping replacement shall be only to the extent necessary to facilitate installation of the new units. The existing ductwork shall be cleaned and only modified to the extent necessary to facilitate installation of new units. The new units shall be set to the same CFM as the existing units to avoid rebalancing the existing supply air system. The Contractor shall also modify wall framing as necessary to mount the new ACUs to the exterior wall.

This procurement is set-aside for SDVOSB vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238220 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million.
ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
