Description:

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13.5 for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.
This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-02 (effective 01/03/2025). This competitive solicitation is being issued as a Total SDVOSB Small Business Set-Aside.
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337127, with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
Contractor is required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and Small Business Administration (SBA). SDVOSB & VOSB contractors are also required to be active in and shall be verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP). Quotes may be considered non-compliant and rejected if the Contracting Officer is unable to verify active registration status.
The MEDVAMC is seeking a contractor to furnish healthcare furniture with the following characteristics/specifications:

All finished surfaces shall be free of scratches, mars, dents, or blemishes, and withstand staining, and exhibit to flaking, cracking, or loss or adhesion.

Furnishings shall have smooth finishes with no hazardous projections, sharp corners, or detail, which can be hazardous and cause personal injury or damage to clothing.

QUESTIONS: All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the Contracting Officer by email, no later than 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: All quotes must include the following, as a minimum. Failure to include any of the following with a quote may result in that quote being determined non-responsive. Any quote determined non-responsive will NOT be evaluated for award. Quotes are due no later than 10:00 am (CST) on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
