ARKANSAS ENTERPRISES FOR THE DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED (AEDD) WORKFORCEBUILDING JOBS 4 YOU TRAINING CENTER, CABOT ARKANSAS
NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: Sealed bids, from qualified licensed contractors, for the construction of AEDD WORKFORCE BUILDING JOBS 4 YOU TRAINING CENTER, will be received at the Offices of Arkansas Enterprises for the developmentally Disabled (AEDD), 105 East Roosevelt Road, Little Rock, AR 72206 until 2:00 p.m., Local Time, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids not submitted on time will be returned unopened.
CONTRACT DOCUMENT DISTRIBUTION: Printed Procurement and Contracting Documents: Plans may be obtained from Capitol Imaging, 11223 Otter Creek East Blvd., Mabelvale, Arkansas 72103 / Phone 501-376-2446 / Fax 501-375-9007 (Designated Distribution Representative). Downloads are available for purchase at www.capitolblueplanroom.com . Plans and Specifications will be ready for distribution on Monday, September 30, 2024. Obtaining contract documents through any source other than the designated distribution representative is not advisable due to the risks of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information, and the bidders are at risk of basing their Bid(s) on such incomplete and inaccurate information. The documents obtained through Capitol Imaging are considered the official version and take precedence if any discrepancies occur. Bidding documents may be examined at the Architect’s Office (Taggart Architects), by Appointment Only.
1. Deposit: No Deposit Required. Bidders shall pay costs to print if hard printed sets are desired.
2. Shipping: Actual Shipping Charges will be paid by the requestor prior to release of the Drawings and is not refundable.
Contractors may submit questions and clarifications via email to Taggart Architects. Please send questions to Shannon Sanders sanders@taggarch.com and Reyna Calvo reyna@taggarch.com with copy to Bill Gray gray@taggarch.com . All questions and clarifications will be answered and issued as an addendum to all general contractors whom we have a record of making deposits on plans. General contractors who are not listed as plan holders will not receive addendums.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% complying with Arkansas regulations shall accompany each bid. A performance and payment bond, equal to the amount of the contract, and issued by a surety authorized to do business in the state of Arkansas will be required of the successful bidder.
All bidders shall comply with requirements of the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Law for Contractors and shall be licensed on the day of the bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities.
