Construction Management Services for Pier 40

Invitation to Submit Proposal:

The Hudson River Park Trust (the “Trust”) is pleased to invite qualified consultants to serve as “Construction Manager as Builder”, providing Construction Management (“CM”) and other Consultant Services. The Construction Manager as Builder shall directly subcontract all construction and related services, including professional services needed to support construction tasks, in order to complete each assignment to the satisfaction of the Trust. All subcontracted services shall be managed and paid for by the Consultant, who shall be reimbursed by the Trust plus compensation for Consultant’s staff time and other eligible expenses.

Consultants shall perform CM Services as specified in accordance with any Project Assignment awarded to the Consultant in connection with specific projects at Pier 40, or other buildings or structures located within Hudson River Park on an as-needed basis, as directed by the Trust during the Contract term, and as set forth in Appendix B of the full RFP (the “Services”). Projects undertaken by the Trust may include, but are not limited to: (1) Structural Repairs; (2) Fire Suppression and Alarm; (3) Roofing; (4) Façade (including doors and windows); (5) Elevator; (6) HVAC/Mechanical/Plumbing; (7) Demolition; (8) Electrical; (9) Interior Fit Out; and (10) Any Other Construction Project as directed by the Trust.

Respondents are required to disclose any conflict of interest(s) that may preclude them from participating in this solicitation, including participation in other Project contracts.
