This project involves the interior renovation of approximately 19,690 square feet on the third floor of the Potter Stewart U.S. Courthouse, transforming the vacant Circuit Court Law Library stack area and administration offices into a new, consolidated Court of Appeals Office of the Executive. The space will house the Executive Office with administrative functions, including Space & Facilities, Human Resources/Education, Information Technology, conference rooms, a lounge, a Judicial Conference room, and other related support areas.
The scope of work includes demolition, new architectural construction, updated finishes, modifications to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, fire alarm and suppression system upgrades, data cabling installation, security infrastructure improvements, and hazardous material abatement. This renovation project is located at 100 East Fifth Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202.
The project has a contract completion period of 210 calendar days from the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated construction cost ranges between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a negotiated procurement based on best value.
The purpose of this notice is to cancel the previous synopsis. This requirement will no longer be set aside for small business on SAM.gov but will be issued via GSA Region 5, Repair and Alterations IDIQ. This IDIQ is already set aside for Small Business and only contractors with an IDIQ will be permitted to submit a quote.
