NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00PM, March 13, 2025, in the Conference Room, Division of Building Authority, Construction Section, 501 Woodlane St., Suite 101N, Little Rock, Arkansas for the following:
CMTC Bridge 16 Repair located at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas for the Arkansas Department of Military. PR #9752419
There will be a Pre-Bid Conference held at 10:00AM on March 5, 2025, at building 2051, 1st Ave. Fort Chaffee, AR 72905. The State reserves the right to schedule additional meetings.
BID DOCUMENTS: The official version of the complete set of contract documents should be examined and are obtainable from Hawkins-Weir Engineers, Inc., 110 South 7th Street, Van Buren, Arkansas 72956. Bidders must deposit a check in the amount of $100.00 per set, payable to Hawkins-Weir Engineers, Inc. Deposits will be returned to all prime bidders who return Plans and Specifications in good conditions within ten (10) days after the opening of bids. A bidder receiving a contract award may retain the bidding documents and the bidder’s deposit will be refunded.

A bid security in the amount of 5% shall accompany each bid, if the bid is more than $50,000.00.
Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 22-9-203, the State encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups.
The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities.
