ADDENDUM NO. 2
The following changes, revisions and/or supplemental information, as applicable, are hereby issued as
ADDENDUM NO. 2 in connection with the Contract Documents (Specifications) issued for the
above-referenced project.
This Addendum amends the Schedule of Unit Prices (Appendix A) to remove all line items regarding
Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining, as well as all per-foot unit prices for Cleaning and CCTV.
REVISIONS TO THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
• Replace Bid Form, Schedule of Unit Prices in its entirety with the attached revised version
with Addendum No. 2 in its header.
o To ensure pricing accuracy and competitiveness, future services for these items will be
solicited on a per-project basis. Since CIPP and CCTV & Cleaning costs are driven by
highly variable site-specific factors—such as bypass pumping requirements, installation
depth, access constraints, and run length—fixed unit prices are often inaccurate over
multi-year terms. By retaining the Day Rate specifically for emergencies, the City ensures
immediate responsiveness while guaranteeing that planned work is bid competitively
based on actual site conditions.
o Consequently, Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining and Cleaning & CCTV Contractors
will be qualified based on experience (per Section 2.10.C) and shall submit pricing upon
request for specific projects (per Special Condition 6.1).
• To be considered responsive and be qualified, bidders must meet all requirements for their desired
category, including submitting pricing for all remaining bid items applicable to that category:
o Open-Cut Bidders: Must meet 2.10.D qualifications AND submit pricing for Parts 1, 2,
and 3.
o Sewer & Drain Cleaning & CCTV Bidders: Must meet 2.10.F qualifications AND submit
pricing for Parts 3 and 4 (Items 5a, 5b, and 5c).
o Trenchless Rehabilitation (CIPP) Bidders: Must meet 2.10.E qualifications AND submit
pricing for Parts 3 and 4 (Items 5a, 5b, and 5c).
All other terms, conditions, and specifications of the Request for Proposals remain unchanged.
Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this Addendum No. 2 in their bid submission.
