Addendum #1

ADDENDUM #1 The plans and specifications are modified, corrected,
augmented or supplemented as follows and this Addendum #1 is hereby made
a part of the RFP documents. Vendor shall note on the form below that this
Addendum #1 has been received and include the completed form in the
submitted proposal.
SCOPE OF WORK CLARIFICATION:
* All walks are assumed to be 4" thick
* The contractor will make a good faith effort to avoid damage to the
existing asphalt. All overcuts will be filled as part of the base bid.
Incidental/accidental damage will be repaired as an extra. Damage
resulting from negligence will be the responsibility of the contractor.
* Contract to backfill along walks with existing materials. Contractor to
make a good faith effort to minimize damage to glass and landscaping.
MCCC will seed and water disturbed areas.
Locations 1-7 shall be considered the base bid and entered in the "High Priority"
on the bid form:
* Location 1 includes approximately 15.5lf of curb and gutter.
* Include a "joint patch" of curb and walk in the slab area next to slab
one
* Location 2 approx. length is 20lf
* Location 4 includes 96lf of curb
* Also, include the additional removal and replacement of the 6 squares,
surrounding curb and gutter, and ADA mats as discussed in Slab # 4.
* Location 5 is a "joint patch" in the curb and gutter
* Location 6: replace walk on either side of frost stoop and patch stoop.
Location 8-12 shall be condensed and alternated and entered in the "Low
priority" on the bid form.
* Location 8 includes 10lf of curb and gutter
* Location 9 includes 101lf of curb and gutter only (no walk)
* Location 10 includes 46lf of curb and gutter only(no walk)
* Location 11 includes 3.5lf of curb and gutter only(no walk)

* Location 12 includes the removal of the walk and surrounding curb and
gutter
Location 13 was eliminated from the scope of work.
* Contractor to use WR Meadow 1600 white or an approved equal for all
new work.
