Sealed proposals will be received until 12 o’clock noon on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 , by electronic bid only for the following project:

East Main Street - Broadford Bridge Rehabilitation, Project# 2023-008

in accordance with the specifications now on file in the office of the Director of Public Service and Safety, City of Troy, Ohio.

The electronic bidding will be handled through the Bid Express service www.bidexpress.com . Bidder must register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation the bidder intends to bid electronically prior to bidding.

This project will reconstruct approximately 750 feet of the Broadford Bridge on E. Main S treet, over the Great Miami River. The project will include the repair and patching of spalling concrete curb, including traversable area between the curb and guard rail. All Contractors and Subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practical, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Miami County and the City of Troy, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations .

A bid guaranty as follows is required to accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into:

The City of Troy reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids when to the advantage of the City and to select the best bid in its opinion. The City of Troy, Ohio is in compliance with ADA.
