The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, materials, and labor required to perform the following 3 mechanical services:

Backflow Preventors
- Supply and install 2 each 8” Zurn/Wilkins or equivalent BFP
- Supply and install 1 each 4” Zurn/Wilkins or equivalent BFP
- Supply and install 1 each 1.5” Zurn/Wilkins or equivalent BFP

Main Gate Valves
- Supply and install two 8" valves on the effluent side of the backflow preventers. Replace two 8" flanged ductile 90's, one 8" tee, and the seven bolt & gasket kits.
- NOTE-This work will need to be completed during off hours.

Chiller Pipe Replacement
- Replace the IO-inch schedule 40-weld pipe (up to 8 feet) that is leaking in the ceiling of the chiller room.
- Remove the section of IO-inch schedule 40 weld pipe (up to 8 feet) Tis will require disconnecting the chemical feed line.
- Install 2 new thread-o-lets, plug one off and connect the new chemical line.
- Replace the schedule 80 PVC all the way back to the ball valve with new split rings.
- Leak checked to be performed and monitored by building engineers for 24 hours before insulating
- Install new insulation and wrapping over new pipe and tie into existing.
- The plastic vinyl 90's may be reused if not damaged during removal
- The contractor shall provide and use a smoke eater during all welding, grinding, cutting, and torching of the pipe.
- Provide necessary fire safety equipment and inform building engineers when fire or sparks will be taking place.
