2​ 8803, within Asheville City Schools (“ACS”), as per the specifications described herein.​
2​ .​ ​SCOPE OF WORK​
​A​ s​ urvey​ ​map​ f​or​ t​he​ t​hird​ ​floor​ o​ f​ ​the​ C​ TE​ B​ uilding​ o​ f​ ​Asheville​ H​ igh​ ​School​ i​s​ ​added​ ​as​ ​Exhibit​ ​B​ ​to​ t​his​

​3.​ S​ ITE VISIT​
​Site​ ​Visits​m​ ay​​be​​scheduled​​by​c​ ontacting​​Tim​​Shelton,​A​ CS​M​ aintenance​D​ irector,​a​ t​​(828)​7​ 13-6430.​​While​
n​ ot​ ​required,​ i​t​ i​s​ h​ ighly​r​ecommended​​that​​all​c​ ontractors​f​amiliarize​​themselves​w​ ith​t​he​​project.​P​ roposer​i​s​
​responsible for measuring actual square footage.​
4​ .​ ​EXPERIENCE WITH SIMILAR PROJECTS​
T​ he requirements and specifications include the following:​
​Experience: Contractor must have at least three (3) years’ commercial or residential flooring projects.​
R​ eferences: At least three (3) references for similar projects.​
5​ .​ ​TIMELINE​
​Work shall start on or approximately July 1, 2026 and shall be completed no later than August 10, 2026.​
​6.​ ​CONDITIONS​
E​ ach​ ​Proposer​ s​ hall​ ​fully​ a​ cquaint​ ​itself​ ​with​ ​conditions​ ​relating​ ​to​ ​the​ s​ cope​ ​and​ ​restrictions​ ​attending​ ​the​
e​ xecution​ ​of​ ​the​ w​ ork​ u​ nder​ ​Contract.​ P​ roposers​ ​shall​ ​thoroughly​ e​ xamine​ ​and​ ​be​ f​amiliar​ w​ ith​ ​the​
​Specifications.​
I​t​ i​s​ ​also​ ​expected​ t​hat​ t​he​ P​ roposers​ ​will​ o​ btain​ ​information​ ​concerning​ t​he​ c​ onditions​ ​at​​locations​​that​​may​
a​ ffect​i​ts​w​ ork.​​The​f​ailure​​or​​omission​o​ f​​any​​Proposer​​to​r​eceive​​or​​examine​​any​​form,​i​nstrument,​a​ ddendum​
o​ r​​other​​document,​​or​​to​​acquaint​​itself​​with​e​ xisting​c​ onditions,​​shall​​in​n​ o​w​ ay​​relieve​i​t​o​ f​​any​o​ bligations​w​ ith​

T​ he​C​ ontractor​s​ hall​a​ dhere​t​o​t​he​​rules,​r​egulations,​​and​i​nterpretations​o​ f​a​ ll​s​ tate,​f​ederal,​a​ nd​l​ocal​l​aws​t​hat​
​pertain​ ​to​ w​ orkers​ a​ nd​ s​ ite​ s​ afety.​ T​ his​ ​to​ ​include​ ​OSHA​ ​1910,​ G​ eneral​ ​Construction,​ o​ r​ t​hose​ ​regulations​
m​ andated by these specifications.​

O​ therwise,​ ​it​ ​will​ ​be​ c​ onsidered​ ​that​ ​items​ o​ ffered​ a​ re​ ​in​ ​strict​ ​compliance​ w​ ith​ t​hese​ s​ pecifications,​ a​ nd​t​he​
o​ fferor​w​ ill​​be​h​ eld​​responsible​​therefore. ​T​ he​​proposer​s​ hall​n​ ot​c​ onstrue​​this​​paragraph​​as​i​nviting​d​ eviation​​or​
i​mplying that any deviation will be acceptable.​

A​ WARD OF CONTRACT​
​It​i​s​t​he​​intent​t​o​a​ ward​t​his​​contract​t​o​a​ ​​single​​overall​o​ fferor. ​T​ he​​right​i​s​​reserved,​h​ owever,​​to​​make​a​ ward​
o​ n​ ​the​ ​basis​ ​of​ ​individual​ i​tems​ o​ r​ g​ roups​ ​of​ i​tems,​ ​if​ s​ uch​ s​ hall​ ​be​ ​considered​ ​to​ ​be​ ​most​a​ dvantageous​​or​
​constitute​​the​​best​​interest​o​ f​A​ CS. ​B​ est​v​ alue​​procurement​​to​t​he​​lowest​r​esponsive and​​responsible​​bidder​i​s​
t​he procurement goal of ACS.​
​This​m​ ay​b​ e​​determined​u​ pon​c​ onsideration​​of​s​ uch​f​actors​​as:​​prices​​offered;​t​he​q​ uality​​of​t​he​​articles​o​ ffered;​
​the​ ​general​ ​reputation​ ​and​ p​ erformance​ c​ apabilities​ o​ f​ t​he​ o​ fferors;​ ​the​ s​ ubstantial​ c​ onformity​ ​with​ t​he​
