The Minnesota Office of Management and Budget (MMB) intends to renew an agreement with the National Association of State Budget Officers (NASBO) for up to 12 months to provide a one-year renewal of membership in the organization.

NASBO membership is required for all United States’ and US Territories’ executive branch budget offices. NASBO provides training on critical state fiscal issues and budget processes, researches inquiries on topics impacting states and their budgets, and organizes national meetings for states to discuss critical issues and share best practices. MMB has determined that NASBO is the only commercially reasonably available organization of its kind. NASBO is the only organization available that addresses federal and state budget issues and practices at the state and federal levels. This is deemed a single source purchase because NASBO membership is solely distributed and supported by NASBO itself and is not available from other third parties.
