BLOUNT STREET BRIDGE REPAIR
CES Project #26-1482
Sealed bids or electronic bids will be received by the City of Philadelphia, Mississippi
until 2:00PM on April 23, 2026. Sealed bids will be received until the designated date and time
at the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Philadelphia, Philadelphia City Hall, 525 Main
Street, Philadelphia, Mississippi 39350. Electronic bids will be received until the designated
date and time via electronic bid submission through Quest CDN for a forty-five dollar ($45) fee.
All bids will be thereafter publicly opened for the Blount Street Bridge Repair in Philadelphia,
Mississippi, CES Project #26-1482.
Contract Time: 30 Working Days
The Project includes timber pile repair, roadway approach repair, bridge headwall repair, and
replacement of precast channel beams.
The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of the published
quantities.
The City of Philadelphia hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that, in any
contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be
afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be
discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an
award.
Plans and specifications are on file in the City Clerk's Office and the Project Engineer's office.
This project shall be constructed in accordance with the contract documents and specifications
contained within the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road
and Bridge Construction.
PLANS AND PROPOSALS may be secured from Thomas M. (Marty) Crowder, P.E., Project
Engineer, c/o Crowder Engineering & Surveying, Inc., P. O. Box 1209, Ackerman, MS 39735
(662-285-2062). The Cost is fifty dollars ($50.00) for printed plans and fifty dollars ($50.00) for
the printed proposal, non-refundable. Plans and Proposals may also be downloaded
electronically for a non-refundable fee of $35.00 by providing QuestCDN Project Number
10116297 on the Project Search Page on the Quest website www.questcdn.com.

Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the City of

Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner
the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid, and such
proposal will not be considered in making the award.
