Project Description |
|
Scope of Work: The project will be constructing a new inpatient acute psychiatric facility that will provide behavioral health services to the adolescent (12-17 yrs of age) of the San Francisco Community. The facility will have a series of 12 patient rooms, 6 bathrooms, two activity areas, a group therapy room, dining area along with a number of additional patient and staff support spaces. The work is located at the Zuckerburg San Francisco General Hospital at 1001 Potrero Ave, San Francisco, CA 94112 within Ward 7A and select areas of Ward 7E and 7F. Work will include construction of walls, ceilings and finishes for a new Inpatient Adolescent Behavioral Health Services facility with administrative and technological support spaces. Additional work to accommodate new MEP system tie-ins to existing infrastructure will include sections of ceiling in Ward 6A below. The entire project will be under California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) jurisdiction. |

This project is being bid as Best Value Procurement. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the responsible Bidder whose responsive Bid provides the Best Value to the City. The Best Value Bid to the City is equivalent to the lowest Best Value Score. The Best Value Score is determined by an evaluation of 1) Bidder’s Qualification Points and 2) the Bidder’s Cost Bid Basis. The City will divide each Bidder’s Cost Bid Basis by its Qualification Points to determine the Bidder’s Best Value Score. The lowest Best Value Score will represent the Best Value Bid. The Bid Opening and notification of the Best Value Tabulation will be conducted live online via Microsoft Teams. Contract Administration will email the Microsoft Teams meeting information to all Plan Holders approximately 24 hours prior to Bid Opening. |
