WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP

NOTICE TO PROPOSERS

The Township of Whitehall is accepting proposals for the following project:

RFP #2026-01 “ZONING INSPECTION SERVICES FOR WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP”

Sealed proposals will be received at the Whitehall Township Municipal Building, 3219 MacArthur

Road, Whitehall, PA 18052, by Lenore Brazier, Purchasing Agent, or her designee, until 10:00 a.m., Local

Time, on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at which time they will be opened, in front of a township witness.

Proposal results will be posted on the Township’s website: www.whitehalltownship.org. Late proposals

will not be accepted.

A Non-Mandatory Virtual Pre-Proposal meeting will be held via a Teams Meeting on Monday, March

9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

Proposal Documents, including plans and specifications, may be obtained beginning immediately by

sending an email to: bids@whitehalltwppa.gov, or by calling 610-437-5524 x 1165. Proposal Packets are

free of charge.

The position requires a qualified individual or firm to perform Zoning Inspection duties. This position

will complement and assist the full-time Zoning Officer with enforcement work.

Whitehall Township reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether any aspect of a

proposal satisfactorily meets the criteria established in this Request for Proposal, to accept either in whole

or in part, any one proposal or combination of proposals, to waive or permit the curing of any immaterial

defects informalities or irregularities in a proposal as permitted by law, to reject any or all proposals with or

without cause, and to take any action which the Township deems appropriate. The Township intends to

select that proposal(s) which, in the sole opinion of the Township is/are most favorable and in the best

interests of the citizens of Whitehall Township.
