Zone 1 Reservoir Design RFSQ

Project Description: Granger-Hunter Improvement District (District) is seeking design-phase services for a new 3 MG buried concrete reservoir. The District has 5 distinct pressure zones in its system. Zone 1 does not currently have dedicated storage but is served by 2 pump stations and a Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District wholesale connection. The District’s recent Master Plan identified a need to construct a 3 MG storage reservoir near 6400 West 4700 South to serve Zone 1. The District was also recently awarded a Bureau of Reclamation WaterSMART Design Grant to fund part of the design of this project. It is the intention of the District to submit a grant proposal for the construction of this project to for the BOR’s WaterSMART Drought Resiliency Program. The District has purchased a 2.6 acre parcel at 6400 West 4700 South for this project.
This Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) is part of a competitive procurement process to select Design Professional Services which helps to serve the best interests of the District and its customers (Utah Code 63G-6a-15). It also provides each respondent with a fair opportunity for its services to be considered. As such, do not include a scope of work or fee proposal at this time. All information submitted in the RFSQ is subject to the Utah Governmental Records and Management Act (GRAMA).
