This equipment is needed to establish the first zebrafish colony at Utah State University. Establishing and maintaining this colony is vital to establishing a research program in the Department of Biology at the Logan campus in developmental biology and genetic studies of human diseases. The zebrafish is a freshwater fish that has been used as a biomedical model organism for over 50 years and requires specific water quality parameters.
