The Town of Wolfeboro is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of a 2002 propane-powered Zamboni, previously used by the Wolfeboro Parks and Recreation Department at the Pop Whalen Ice and Arts Center.
Sealed bids clearly marked “2002 Propane Zamboni” will be accepted until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the Wolfeboro Town Offices, 84 South Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH 03894. Bids will be publicly opened at that time.
The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. In the event of a tie, the bid received first will be considered the successful bid. Award is expected shortly after the bid opening.
The vehicle is being sold “as is”, with no warranties expressed or implied. The Zamboni was in use until January 2026, at which time the engine failed.
The successful bidder must remit payment in full and remove the vehicle within seven (7) days of award.
