Amendment issued to answer questions received after the site visit.
1. Will the tree at the South end of the garden be removed?
Yes, the large tree near the southern entrance to garden will be removed per the Demolition Plan (C1).
2. Are the trees at the North end of the garden adjacent to the perimeter wall staying? Tree roots interfering with existing brick pavement.
All of the existing trees along the northern perimeter wall are to remain. The Site Plan (L1) calls for stone fines to be installed in a new
pathway system to replace the existing brick & stone fines pathways.
3. Are the stone fines staying?
The existing stone fines (or stone dust) are to be removed and disposed per the Demolition Plan (C1). New stone fines are to be installed in
proposed locations per Site Plan (L1).
4. Is the brick staying? And if so, is it required to save & reuse the existing brick?
All brick pavers within the site limits are to be removed and disposed per the Demolition Plan (C1). See Site Plan (L1) for locations of
proposed stone fines and/or clay pavers.
5. Is there any additional staging areas outside of the site?
No, all staging areas and storage of materials or stockpiling are to be confined within the masonry walls that surround the garden (Section 1.4C
& Section 1.4F) (01 11 00 ¿ 6).
6. What is the Period of Performance for this project?
As per SOL_140P4223R0004, the period of performance is 120 calendar days after receiving Notice to Proceed.
7. How big is the pipe diameter from water source?
As per the Irrigation Plan (I1), the point of connection is to adapt to 1.5¿ SCH 40 PVC.
