Place of Performance:
Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources to complete the construction of: Fort Randall – Sioux City D 230-kV Transmission Lines, Structure 103/4 Bank Stabilization and Riprap Protection, Iowa.
The principal components of the work involve miscellaneous sitework, construction and repair of eroded riverbank and providing riprap protection around the existing transmission line structure foundations. The repair includes backfilling and compacting clay material to repair the riverbank, providing geotextile fabric, and providing riprap.
The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All work is to be completed within 60 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about November 27, 2024, and the projected bid opening day is January 07, 2025.
