Project: 578-15-001 Install Patient Lifts in Multiple Locations

This construction project involves installation of permanent, ceiling-mounted, patient lifts in Buildings 1, 8, 12, 113, 128, 200, 217, and 228. The patient lifts requirements are specific to each location. The lifts must meet the requirements specified in the salient characteristics identified in the design drawing and specifications. All measurements & dimensions submitted to the Contractor are approximate. The Contractor must verify all measurements & dimensions.
The Contractor shall inspect the area under contract prior to commencing work and identify any pre-existing damage and provide an Existing Site Conditions report with related photos to the Contracting Officer for review and approval.
Period of Performance is 432 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 14 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance is provided.
The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction; small business $45.0 million size standard applies.
Estimated price range for construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.
Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a
(1) SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/vaar819.asp#8197001
(2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and
(3) SDVOSB listed as verified in SBA VIP database at:Â https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/
The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on https://sam.gov/content/opportunities
betaSAM.gov CONTRACTING OPPORTUNTIES on, or about February 20, 2025. A pre-bid site conference and a site walk-through for this solicitation is tentatively scheduled for the week of March 6, 2025 (exact time and location shall be provided with the formal solicitation package). All interested offerors, subcontractors and suppliers are strongly encouraged to attend.
