Description

Focus of Safely Home Expansion: Youth Advocate Programs (YAP®), Inc. has received private funding that is allowing our organization to expand into geographical areas where YAP does not currently serve. The focus of our expansion will be in support of: 1) Emerging young adults up to age 25 with complex needs (homeless, older youth in the child welfare or justice systems and or/probation and parole populations, CSEC populations, etc.); 2) Reduce youth prison populations and/or help close youth prisons and return young people safely home; 3) Develop year-round services for young people in public schools who have behavioral, academic learning loss, trauma, truancy or other high/complex needs and improve parent/guardian engagement.
