The requirement will be sole sourced to AVKIN Inc., 103 South Jame Street, Newport DE 19804. AVKIN Inc., will provide the product and training aids needed for the Women s Wellness department. AVKIN Inc., is the only source for the simulators, training modules, and instructional guidance for this request. The vendor has proprietary products that are not offered or authorized to third party vendors. A sole source letter was received from AVKIN s product department which states that AVKIN doesn t authorize third-party vendors to produce AVKIN s equipment due to proprietary products and specific training guides. All warranties and guarantees on the products are voided if an unauthorized third-party vendor is engaged.
This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (2), soliciting from a single source. The NAICS code is 339113 and has a size standard of 800 employees for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 12:00p.m. CST, April 27, 2025. Responses received will be evaluated; however, any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
