Yampa River Botanic Park Propagation House

The City of Steamboat Springs expects that the successful proponent has carefully examined the plans prepared by Mountain Architecture Design Group and has provided a complete proposal to successfully complete the addition by November 30, 2026. Construction start date is scheduled for Aug 17 ^th , 2026.  The structure(s) shall be constructed per plans & specs and adhere to all local authorities having jurisdiction, Community Development Code, and the Building Code as referenced on the contract documents.  The Contractor shall be responsible for the construction of the Propagation House as described in the attached plans that have been provided (Exhibit A).  The successful candidate shall include in their proposal all safety, coordination with city staff, coordination of all inspections including third-party material testing, and any related measures necessary to keep the users of the Botanic Park area safe during the project including but not limited to fencing, exterior lighting, and signage.   Contractor will also be required to include and maintain all required stormwater and erosion control measures to control tracking onto adjacent roadways and or parking areas.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Walk

A mandatory construction site walk will be held on Wednesday, March 25th at 1:00 PM. All prospective bidders must attend in order to be considered.

Proposals must be submitted via electronic submission on BidNet https://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado/cityofsteamboatsprings ) no later than 5:00 pm MST , April 14 as specified on the solicitation notice.  Please note that the contractors must register on BidNet ( https://www.bidnetdirect.com/ ) in order to submit their proposals electronically.
