Yampa River Botanic Park Expansion Project

The City of Steamboat Springs, hereinafter referred to as the City, is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide professional services for site work and landscaping related to the expansion of the Yampa River Botanic Park (YRBP) in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, hereinafter referred to as the Project (Exhibit A). The YRBP’s design consultants have prepared an approved bid set for the Project (Appendix A). The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor and equipment necessary to; remove an existing landscape berm, chain-link fencing, asphalt pavement, and trees, install fencing, sidewalk, soft-surface paths, drainage infrastructure, and landscaping, and modify and restripe the existing parking lot in accordance with the Project’s plans and specifications. The Project’s scheduling, phasing, reclamation, and timely completion is crucial to minimize conflicts with other active projects in Emerald Park and to ensure that all of Emerald Park, including the YRBP, is ready to be reopened in the spring of 2028.
