USFWS J.N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge - Building Rehabilitation Projects

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) Solicitation Number 140FGA26Q0026. This will be as Set-Aside for Total Small Business.
The work includes providing all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials for renovations on multiple facilities at the J.N. ¿Ding¿ Darling National Wildlife Refuge, located at 1 Wildlife Dr, Sanibel, FL 33957. All work will be accomplished in accordance with the specifications.
This procurement action is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside In accordance with FAR 19.502-2.

NAICS Code: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Const.

Small Business Size Standard $45.0 million dollars

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36 Construction and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation.

In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects (c) Between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This work involves performing work as defined in the Statement of Work that will be provided when solicitation is issued. Detailed requirements and/or specifications will be listed within the solicitation. A Firm Fixed Price award is contemplated from this solicitation with an award to the offeror(s) providing the best value, based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the solicitation once issued.

1)        Technical Approach
2)        Past Performance/Experience
3)        Price

The full solicitation will be posted on or around July 16, 2026 to www.sam.gov

Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to participate in this requirement. The SAM can be found http://www.sam.gov. Payments will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer using the data within the SAM registration database.
