84625Y0409-Third-Party Witness and Periodic Inspection Services for Elevators And Lifts

The work to be performed under this Agreement includes furnishing all labor, materials, travel time, transportation and equipment and all other work incidental thereto necessary or required to provide the complete third-party witnessing and timely filing of test reports to the City’s Department of Buildings (“DOB”) for thirty-nine (39) elevators and four (4) lifts inspections, for the Agency.

The Contractor shall be required to perform third-party witnessing to one-year inspections for all elevators and lifts covered under this Agreement as per Local Law 10 of 1981, and five-year safety inspections if applicable.  The Contractor shall be required to file all necessary documentation with the DOB.  When the Category One (1) and Category Five (5) inspections fall in the same year, the Agency may choose to perform both types of inspections at the same time and file the results on the same ELV3 form.

This contract will be awarded utilizing the M/WBE Noncompetitive Small Purchase method pursuant PPB Rule Section 3-08 (c) (1) (iv). This procurement opportunity is limited to business certified as New York City minority or women-owned business enterprises pursuant to section 1304 of the New York City Charter.
