Place of Performance:
The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) has a requirement for replacing two runs of 600-Vac station service bus from Transformers KRB and KRC, to Station Service D1A, with two runs of 1,600 ampere, continuously rated, copper, nonsegregated-phase bus. Two existing 2-inch rigid steel conduits and CT circuits, from the two transformers to D1A, may also need to be removed and relocated.
Work is located at Blue Mesa Powerplant approximately 40 miles east of Montrose, Colorado in Gunnison County.
The Period of performance is expected between August 2025 through August 2026. This is estimated to be between $500K and $1.0 Million.
The NACIS code is 237130 with a size Standard of $ 45.0 Million.
The resultant contract will be a firm fixed priced. The government will make an award to the contractor whose proposal is considered to be the best value to the Government. To determine the best value, this acquisition may utilize a trade off process. The process permits trade-offs among the technical capability, past performance, and price, and allows the Government to accept other than the lowest priced proposal.
The Statement of work and drawings will be included with the Solicitation.
A pre-proposal site visit will be held at the Blue Mesa Powerplant. The date and time of the site visit will be provided in the solicitation.
System for Award Management (SAM, www.sam.gov): The System for Award Management (SAM) is a Federal Government owned-and-operated FREE web site that consolidates the capabilities in Central Contractor Registration (CCR)/Federal Register (FedReg), Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), and Excluded Parties List System (EPLS). Offerors must be successfully registered in SAM in order to be considered for a Government contract award. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at www.sam.gov.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (SOLICITATION), NOR IS IT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the requesting party to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals or quotes. No award will be made as a result of this Notice. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this Notice. This notice is strictly for compliance with FAR Subpart 5.2. As a result of this Notice, the Government may issue a competitive solicitation; however, should such requirements materialize, no basis for claims against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to the Notice (e.g. use of such information as either part of its evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement).
