The Fire Department of the City of New York (“Fire Department” or “FDNY” or “The Department”) in the interest of promoting competition and in obtaining information is seeking qualified proposers to respond to this Request for Information (“RFI”) pertaining to the potential end-to-end process improvements in the lifecycle of a 911 call, with potential to expand to other FDNY areas.

This Request for Information (RFI) is being released through PASSPort, New York City's online procurement portal.  Responses to this RFI shall be submitted via PASSPort.  To access this RFI, please visit the PASSPort Public Portal at a0333-passportpublic.nyc.gov/ and click on "Browse Solicitations."  To locate the RFI, insert EPIN 05726Y0571 into the Keywords search field.  If you need additional assistance with PASSPort, please submit an inquiry to the MOCS Service Desk at the following URL: mocssupport.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals

Any inquiries concerning this RFI shall be submitted through the Discussion Forum in PASSPort.  The deadline for submission of inquiries is no later than ten (10) days prior to the proposal due date.  FDNY will subsequently provide written answers to questions received via an addendum released through PASSPort.

The issuance of this RFI and the submission of a proposal to the FDNY does not obligated the FDNY or the City of New York in any way.  No contract or payment will result from this RFI, nor will any responding vendor be given any kind of advantage in any future procurement that should result from the information provided by the vendor.
