Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO 1), supporting VA New England Healthcare System (VISN 1), is seeking potential sources for an upcoming requirement for Construction Services as described in the attached statement of work. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A SOLICITAION. This notice is a market research tool and has not been set-aside for any small business category, but the notice is issued to determine appropriate set-aside categories. Responses to this notice, in conjunction with other Government market research resources, will be used by the contracting officer to determine the applicable socio-economic set-aside for the procurement.

Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that the companies possess the necessary expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Interested parties are requested to submit the requested information not later than 15 NOV 2024 EST at 3:30PM to Alexandru Sava via email to Alexandru.sava@va.gov. The response burden to this notice is expected to be light; lengthy responses are not expected, but no maximum page count is assigned. Contractor is to perform a full investigation of the underground structure conditions and to provide a final report with findings, including, but not limited to, structure dimensions, potential entry points, and structure materials. Report to also include the feasibility of infilling the underground structure with gravel, flowable fill or an alternative type of fill to prevent structure collapse.

Once the VA has reviewed and approved the proposed solution and materials from the initial report, the second portion of work includes all construction services to infill the structure.
