Place of Performance:
This project will replace approximately 20,000 SF of dilapidated, water-logged, wood-log docks with a combination of polyethylene modular floats and steel-framed polyethylene encased floats. The associated dock anchorage system will be replaced with gravity anchors and dynamic mooring systems. Gangways to the docks and dock utility systems (including electrical, water, and sewer pump-out) will be replaced, and the septic lift station will be refurbished. The log boom wave attenuator system will be replaced as well. Also included in this project is the removal of two aging underground fuel storage tanks and installation of two above-ground 6,000-gallon fuel tanks with fuel delivery system to dock and an on-dock fuel dispensing system. Site vehicular and pedestrian circulation will be improved, providing dedicated and accessible pedestrian routes from parking areas to docks and store. Parking areas will be reconfigured to meet the growing user demand and ensure efficient traffic flow.
