This opportunity is only available to Small Businesses. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) Construction Team has a requirement for the following:

The Observation Platform at the end of the Keen Eye Trail nature walk is in need of maintenance and replacement. To prevent further sagging and movement in the platform, helicals are to be installed to hold up the platform. This project also consists of replacement of an existing timber boardwalk and observation deck with an aluminum light-penetrating boardwalk and observation deck.

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This will be a Firm Fixed Priced Contract and Award will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.

The complete Solicitation will be posted to https://sam.gov/ under Contract Opportunities on or about October 23, 2024. Interested contractors must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management, www.sam.gov) and complete Online Representations and Certifications.

A pre-proposal site visit and instructions will also be announced with the solicitation.

The NAICS code is 237310 – Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction and the size standard is $45 million. The project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000.

The work will commence within 10 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed by the agreed upon date at the time of award.

Bonding Requirements: 20% Bid Bond, 100% Payment Bond, 100% Performance Bond
